Reading, Doing, and Moving Lately
Reaching out this week to share some resources I've been delving into lately. I hope that some of these serve, motivate, and empower your wellness journey.
I'm ever-reminded of how important it is to keep ourselves empowered with efficient and effective ways to strengthen our mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.
How many times have you known how to do a thing, but lacked the motivation, foundation, or dedication to do what you know consistently?
How many times have you been aware of a need to do something, and not known how or where to begin?
News flash - let others help you. Use the credible resources around you to simplify your search for your solution. “Only a fool learns from his own mistakes. The wise man learns from the mistakes of others.”
Wellness (however you've defined that for yourself), is all about daily effort, trial, and error to some extent and DAILY RE-COMMITMENT to what is best for you and those you are responsible for.
Today, people seem to be in search of a single answer, but because we are living/changing beings, and nothing is constant but change.... expecting a single WAY to work forever completely sets us up for cycles of "failure" and "disappointment."
Being willing to constantly adjust and to make an educated guess about the kinds of foods, movement, principles, and practices that will elevate you NOW is the foundation of change. Accepting THIS truth (that nothing is constant, but change) removes the pattern of self-sabotage surrounding living well (mentally, physically, and spiritually).
So without further ado, here are some of the places I've drawn from lately, and I do hope they serve you in strengthening your foundation and commitment to total body wellness.
In addition to celebrating and observing the Fall Biblical Feast Days with friends and family, I've been tunining into Guru Jagat's Kundalini 101 course on Mind, Body, Green. This is my first course with MBG, and I am only in the third module - looking forward to sharing the experience with you soon!
Flowing it out in Buti Yoga/Buti Flow classes at Zen Soul Studio in Scottsdale.
Eating & Drinking:
If we've been connected for a while, then you know I'm an advocate of being consistent. Over the past few years Teami Blends Tea (use BRITFIT12 to take money off) and Collagen Peptides have been a huge part of my wellness routine.
Also, we started a new round of the 14 Day Simple Paleo Challenge on September 25th. Reach out to me to join the next round!
